Which HID / LED Headlights color is the brightest ? Is White more brighter or Blue ?

                           If you are amongst the headlights enthusiasts and are wondering whether white color is the brightest or blue or perhaps purple ? As a HID Headlight installer for three years , I will try to give you a brief explanation of what color temperatures are first. HID headlights come in various colors temperature such as 3000k ( Golden Yellow ) , 5000k ( OEM White ) , 6000k ( Diamond White ) , 8000k ( Iceberg Blue 8000k ) , ( 10000k Deep Blue ) , ( Exotic Violet / Purple Color 12000k ) , so those are the various color temperatures , as the color temperature increases the light intensity ( Brightness ) decreases , in other words the lower the color temperature the higher the light out. Therefore if you want to get the brightest headlights / fog lights possible I would recommend to choose either 5000k / 6000k or 8000k colors for headlights and for fog lights I would recommend to get the 3000k ( Golden Yellow ) . All the other colors such as Green and Purple etc are only meant to be used for show cars and are not recommended for headlights / visibility use, because it defeats the purpose of having HID headlights if the brightness is not there.
